Tirparappu Waterfalls Kanyakumari

  Tirparappu Waterfalls are located in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu state, India. The Kodayar River makes its descent at Thiruparappu. The waterfall at this place is about 13 kilometers from Pechiparai Dam. It is just a 15 min drive from the waterfalls. Easily reachable from NH66. The river bed is rocky and about 300 feet in length.



It's a nice and safe fall to spend our time with friends and family. Better to go early to enjoy more & to avoid the crowd in the afternoon. Nice place to visit a must go in the monsoon season. Too Crowded as it was a weekend. Transportation facilities are available. Walking distance is minimum. For children, there is a swimming pool. Parking available. Small paid swimming pool for kids is there. Dressing room available for ladies. Soap, shampoo, & oil bath are restricted there but even people using it. Well maintained and police production also there. Also, boating is there nearby falls.

It is an Awesome evergreen natural waterfall.  Also, there are many places to explore and photograph. It is a very historical place and famous among all tourists. Don't visit during high rainfall. Bathing is banned at that time.
